It’s time once again for my weekly list of thirteen things that can help make your life in the kitchen a bit more frugal. This week we focus on websites that can help you save money by offering manufacturers coupons for the items that you were going to buy anyway.

I know that some people find coupons to be a hassle, but they really can save you a lot of money at the checkout counter.  With the rising cost of fuel, the need to save a buck is becoming more and more of a necessity, even for families that up until now have been living well above the need to stretch their dollars.  for those who were already having to pinch, it’s murder.

So get ready to fire up your laster printer… (What?  You don’t have a laser printer?  There’s a $100.00 purchase that will save you several hundred dollars in ink cartridges in the course of the very first year!) and print out some savings.

The Thirteen Best places to get grocery coupons

  1. The Coupon Mom: Not only the #1 in Google, but I found that this site pops up in news reports from across the country as well.  550,000 members can’t be wrong!
  2. WOW Coupons: Coupons for both the US and the UK!
  3. Coupons.com: A well known name in the coupon game, works with Windows and Mac only (Linux users like myself are out of luck here!)
  4. The Bargainist: Links to brand-name Food and Grocery Coupons, also coupons for other top-name items.
  5. MyCoupons.com Groceries: Supermarket coupon codes.
  6. CouponMountain.com: More store coupons.
  7. CouponCabin Food and Wine Coupons: Gourmet foods, gift baskets, deals on wine and more.
  8. Mommy$avesBig Printable Coupons: Coupons for just about everything, but there are grocery coupons in the mix here.
  9. SmartSource.com: They claim to be the #1 Online Grocery Coupon Site… See for yourself, because again the site does not support Linux, which leaves me out of the running.
  10. CoolSavings.com: These guys have been around for a long while, and I’ve yet to hear anything negative about them.
  11. CouponBug.com: Registration required, but the site definitely looks like it’s worth a look.
  12. SpecialOffers.com: Online printable coupons and free samples…  Not too shabby!
  13. CouponBar - Web Edition: Not only offers coupons, but can be added to your iGoogle or MyMSN page. (They also offer their service as a toolbar, but who needs another one of those?)

There you have it.  Thirteen places you can simply click-over to and save yourself some money.  I hope this helps!  If you have any suggestions for other places you can go to save, please let us all in on the secret!

Happy TT!

  1. Frugal shopping ftw! Leaves more money for trading cards ;)

    T13 #20: Forceful Rhythms

  2. Every little bit helps at the grocery store. Thanks,

  3. Great list! I’m all about coupons. I actually lean towards not using them so much for groceries, as most of the stuff I buy doesn’t ever have coupons (or very rarely, at least). BUT I love it for household items and beauty stuff! The best way to buy razors/makeup/toilet paper is to wait for a sale and use coupons. A Full Cup generates target coupons, I use that site a lot!

    Happy TT!

  4. I’ve been leery of using coupons from the Net before now because of the high incidence of fraud. I don’t want to get arrested for trying to save money with a coupon I didn’t know was fake!

  5. I love, love, love this 13!! Good one!

  6. Bookmarked! Can’t wait to start using the list…although I gotta get that laser printer. I am SICK of inkjets!

    Happy TT!

  7. Wow…what a great idea. Thanks for the info. Happy TT.

  8. Creative and helpful list! Happy TT!

  9. Thanks for the info!

  10. Great list, mine is up at 13 Not So Famous Last Words; Most Americans die peacefully in their beds, but for those who die violently one can only guess what their final words must have been. I think that after you read these you will have to agree that they do indeed sound like they might have been the last words of those who did not go peacefully into the night.

  11. Great information! I have saved a $10 to $20 dollars each week since I have started using the coupons. I even started a site where I have listed great coupon sites and other coupons I thought would be helpful. Take a look at http://www.grocerycouponsplus.com and start saving money at the stores!

    Thanks - Dave

  13. DARLENE

ANYBODY FIND A LINUX FRIENDLY COUPON SITE?

  14. @Darlene,
Unfortunately, most are not very linux friendly. You might be able to do something with them if you install IE4_linux, though
