Welcome to the ninth edition of the Frugal Fridays Food Blog Event.

We apologize for the lack of regularly scheduled posts over the past few weeks.  Both Ben and I have been very busy on other projects over the past few months, and when it’s time to wrap things up it tends to take a lot of time away from other things, even if you are quite passionate about them.

In fact, it’s time that we admit that this particular project might just be a little more than two very busy people can handle, we’re going to need some help around here.

I already have someone lined up to give us a bit of help, but I have a hunch that it’s going to take one more than that to keep this thing moving along at the pace we’d like to see.  I have a few people in mind already, but if you have a suggestion or would like to help out around the F camp, let me know at jerry AT cookingbytheseatofmypants DOT com.

Now, to the business at hand.  Let’s see those recipes!  Remember, the rules state that they should cost $10.00 or less for a family of four.  Anything in the way of spices or seasonings that you have in your pantry as a staple can be considered as a freebie and does not count toward the cost of the meal.  Grow your own veggies?  Well, it’s free!
