Welcome to the tenth edition of the absolutely fabulous Frugal Fridays Food Blog Event.

The craziness and lack of time continues here at Frugal Fridays.  Though I managed to send off the final draft for my massive 17,000 word project, I found that I needed a few days to recoup.  And I think I still need a few more.  For now, I’m still trying to work out how to schedule when and where thigs are going to be happening around here, and I’ll be discussing this with Ben and our newest staff member, my lovely wife Jessica, over the next week or so.

I’m still of the opinion that we need one or two more people to help things stay on track around here, so if interested, drop me a line!  And thanks to those who have already sent a response in, I’m still considering everyone, I promise!

Now, to the business at hand.  Let’s see those recipes!  Remember, the rules state that they should cost $10.00 or less for a family of four.  Anything in the way of spices or seasonings that you have in your pantry as a staple can be considered as a freebie and does not count toward the cost of the meal.  Grow your own veggies?  Well, it’s free!

As usual, to join in, all you have to do is leave a comment with a link to your recipe. To sign up for the blogroll, just check the top of the page for info.

Let’s See what you’ve got people!

  1. I made a Spinach and Mushroom Wrap today that is perfect for lunches, picnics or tailgating. There is still money left to make your favorite side as well!

  2. I made a simple chili. It got cold here in North Carolina (below 80 degrees) and I felt I needed something to stick to my bones. It makes 5 (five) -cup servings, so it’s enough for four if you add crackers, cheese, sour cream, onions and such to it. The whole pot cost no more than $5.

  3. Here’s my contribution for this week…I just barely made it in under the budget.
