When I was 20, my girlfriend that I had been with for 3 years dumped me. It destroyed me. I felt like a shell of a man. I had no desire to eat, I couldn’t sleep, and all I could focus on was how to get my ex girlfriend back.
At that point of my life, I had no idea how to get over a breakup. It was difficult for me to acknowledge that any thing to do with the relationship ending had been my fault, and by blaming my ex for everything, I threw away any chance of winning her back.
Take this chance to benefit from my mistake. Repairing your relationship with your ex begins with you accepting responsibility for the role you played in the breakup. Buck up and take responsibility for where you messed up, and take the steps needed to show your ex that you are worthy of her. If you’re not willing to do that, getting your ex back obviously isn’t as dear to you as you claim it is.
